Zillionz Real Money Deluxe Savings Goal ATM (Birthdays For Kids Guide)

I think that teaching kids about money and saving money if very important. I find that giving my kids tools to teach them about saving money with, makes the whole saving money part more interesting for them. They dont tend to want to spend it as soon as they get it, the money is not just sitting somewhere where it can be tempting to spend, it is put away and it is safe. I know that when I was a kid, we had piggy banks, we did not have any cool electronic toys that helped us with saving our money. Just a piggy bank, and we had to recount it every so often to verify how much we had, then once we took it out to count it, it seemed that either the ice cream man would drive by, or someone was going to the store. So naturally, we felt that we had to spend it, lol! That is why I love the products from Summit Toys, the Zillionz line of products are perfect for kids of any age! I was sent an awesome product to review and when it came in, I looked it over and I had one of those moments where I wished I had had one of these awesome toys when I was a kid. Your kids can put their real coins and bills in the machine and it will recognize the money and add it into their own little savings. They get a ATM card that they can insert, then a screen comes up and tells them how much they have in their savings. When they want to withdraw some money, they have their own code that they put in to access their money. It comes with a built in wall mount so your kids can hang it up, or they can stand it up on their dresser or desk! I have found this ATM to be very useful with building my daughters math skills. She can use the ATM card, check her balance, then I ask her how much money she has and how much she has to deposit, then I have her add it up and tell me how much she should have once she puts her money in the ATM, she then finds it amazing when she sees that she is correct!!
