Oh Factory’s freshly launched learning application, ArtABC, is a boon to parents seeking more sophisticated, cultural references to use in early education. The application’s dual focus, as suggested by its title, is introducing children to both the alphabet and fine arts. This fun, entertaining, educational app makes full use of touchscreen tech to create an engaging experience complete with narration, exploration, and academics. Instead of relying on cartoons or nonsensical characters to teach, however, ArtABC takes a different route.
As children explore the alphabet, they are presented with a new page for each letter. Each page is a portion of a masterful, culturally relevant work of art. Paintings from Degas, and other masters are educational playground for little ones learning letters and their sounds. As tiny fingers tap and swipe at the pages, images become more and objects appear, as the narrator reveals letters and sounds. ArtABC is a must-have.

I LOVE this! I am an art teacher and this is just awesome!
It is refreshing to see something that's not so silly for little ones.
