My kids are getting bigger and Robert has come out of that little toddler stage. He reminds me everyday of how big he is getting by showing me things that he has outgrown and is too big for. We are getting ready to celebrate his birthday, and one thing that he has shown a lot of interest in and that he wants for his birthday is a new bike. He loves to go to the park here and one part of the park that he likes to go and hang out at is the skate park. He finds all of the kids that are there skating and riding bikes on the halfpipes to be very interesting to him and he says that he wants to be able to do the tricks that they do as well! Robert is big for his age, both mentally and physically, and when he showed me his bike that he just got last year for his birthday was way too small for him, I knew that it was time to start looking for a bike that would be better fit for his size. Well, recently I was sent the new Strider Super 16 Balance Bike to review. They recommend that this bike be used by kids ages 6-10, and since Robert is quite big for his age, I think that this Strider might make for a good fit for him! With this bike, Robert will be able to take it out and practice some of his motocross skills. This Stider Bike is different from the ones that we saw the boys at the park using, but I know that once they see the one that Robert has, they will love how the features will help Robert with his own skills that he will develop! With the new Strider Super 16 Balance Bike, Robert will be able to learn new moves easier and be able to move easier due to the lightweight design. Another feature that I really like is the seat. With the seat on this Strider I can adjust it easily so that it will grow along with my Robert. The handle bars are also easy to adjust as well so that we can keep this bike at the correct height to accommodate Robert as he grows! Since Robert wants to be able to do tricks and such with this bike, he will really like that the tires on this bike will help him in doing so. The tires are pneumatic dirt jump tires and they will provide him with smooth riding and great traction. The tires also have aluminum 16″ rims and steel hubs which help them stay strong and light! As Robert gains riding skills with his Strider Bike, he will appreciated the frame design, which has a Strider Launchpad Footrest integrated into it and it is positioned just right to help with his riding skills. One thing that I know Robert will like right off the bat is the handle bars, which not only have padding for extra protection, but also look cool and give it that motocross look that he will love! To help him with his hand-control coordination and to get him ready to advance with even more skills when he gets older, Robert will get to take advantage of the ergonomic hand lever and caliper brake. In all, I find all of the great features to be ones that will help Robert gain skill and prepare him for when he gets a little older so that he can go to the skate park and join other kids so he can show off his own skills! So if you are looking for a great bike that will help with motocross skills and one that is great for balance and coordination, then check out the new Strider Super 16 Balance Bike!!

this bike is awesome! I wish they would have had them when my oldest was learning. she rides bmx now and had to learn on a regular bike, which didnt go so well!
