Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved building sets. One in particular was the Lincoln Logs. I have found that the building sets that I once loved are not only still around to share with my kids, but they have improved and there are lots of sets out there. When I go to buy my kids the different building sets from K’NEX, not only can I get them those same Lincoln Logs that I loved when I was a kid, but I can get them so many other great sets for them to play with! Recently I was sent a great collection of the new products from K’NEX, which included new sets as well as a new old classic!
When I was little, there were video games that I loved to play at the arcades, well, in this pack of building sets that I was sent, is a great collection of the new Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures sets! Pac-Man was a game that I loved playing, and is one that I am sure most of us can remember from the old arcades. So when I saw all of the fun building sets, well I knew that these were going to be great ones to share with my own kids. You set up the sets to mimic what would be on the video games, and just like in the video games, your kids can save Pac World from uncertain doom! You build the sets to battle the evil Betrayus and his army of evil minion ghosts! We have found these great Pac-Man sets to be tons of fun, it is like bringing the Pac World to life right in our living room! I love the variety of sets that have all of our favorite Pac-Man characters, so each set is like a new scene from the game, and when you put them all next to each other, it is like playing a arcade game with different levels right in your home!
Aside from my favorite classic arcade game, we were sent a building set that is one my kids can really relate to. In this day and age, instead of heading to the arcade, the kids can pull out the tablet or smart phone and play all of the fun apps that are available. One app that not only my kids love and play, but one that I have played too is Angry Birds. So when we were sent the Angry Birds Space set from K’NEX, I knew that just like the Pac-Man set, this would be a fun one. We can set up a scene to mimic one from the app game that my kids love, and they can play out their own live Angry Birds game! You get Terence and Lightning Bird, as well as two evil space pigs, which makes this a fun set to set up then destroy as you launch the birds at those evil hogs, just like in the game!
Then to bring some fun extreme sports into the house, aside from when my son thinks he can do his own extreme sports, we were sent the Extreme Sports Building Set. Which is one that not only captivates my son, but also one I have had fun with as well! With this set, you can build 10 different K’NEX guys who mimic those extreme sports that you see on TV. Like the hang gliding, sky diving, surfing and many more!! This is a great set to play with and build over and again, each time getting a different guy competing in a different sport!
For me, the ultimate building set that brings me back, I mean way back, is the Lincoln Logs! So when I saw that in this great pack of products from K’NEX that there was a cool barrel of Lincoln Logs, well that made me feel like a kid again. With the Lincoln Logs Redfield Ranch, your kids can play, just like we did, and build a Lincoln Log ranch! I love that the Lincoln Logs have stayed true to their roots, by still being made from real wood. My kids have enjoyed the Lincoln Logs sets over the years, and when we get new ones, they see it as an edition to their Lincoln Logs town that they love to put together when they pull out all of their sets! I love looking into the kids rooms and seeing them play together, just like my sister and I did, building a whole Lincoln Log village that takes over their rooms! Then to top off this great package of building sets for my kids and I from K’NEX, we were sent the Super Mario 3D Land Prongo Building Set. Just like Pac-Man, Mario is a game that I can remember playing as a kid. I can remember when my dad brought home our first Nintendo gaming console, and how exciting it was. It is amazing how far the games have come since then, but I love knowing that after all of these years, Mario is still around and he is still a hit with the kids! With the Prongo Building Set, your kids can go on a adventure with the Tanooki Mario and battle Prongo! You can get Mario to run and jump just like in the game with the new jump disk and launcher! Mario can jump using the jump launchers to grab coins and move onto the next level! There is a hidden room with the star medal inside, and a battle that awaits Tanooki Mario where he can knock down and battle the Prongo! This is a great building set that is not only fun to put together with the kids, but is also fun to play and conquer over and over again! In all, we have found these great sets from K’NEX to be perfect for playing together, especially on those rainy days during the summer! They not only keep the kids busy, but they are busy playing and interacting with one another and they are also being creative by building and playing with the sets that they build! I have loved bringing the products from K’NEX into my home over the years, and they are a family of products that I will continue to bring in and share with my kids! Well, since we enjoyed all of the great sets we were sent, the wonderful people from K’NEX want to give one of amazing readers their own Super Mario 3D Land Prongo Building Set!!!
