#Giveaway #RC Flash Kids Blog Tour CLOSED!

I love coming across products that help enhance my kids skills, from reading to math. With the summer coming to an end, I have found that keeping my kids busy with activities that encourage certain skills, to be crucial, to keep them from getting that dreaded summer brain rot. For me, making sure that my kids are really ready for the new school year is a must, from the clothes and supplies to even making sure their minds are ready is on the to do list. This summer my kids were able to test their skills out each day by following and doing the activities that they were given in the set of books we were sent from Flash Kids. Having a child going to Kindergarten and one to the fourth grade, I have to have a range of tools so that they are challenged according to their skill level, and so that when they head back to school, they are ready to take on the new year! So to help them, we were sent the Reading Skills workbook for grade 4, which has really come in handy for Estrella this summer. She is able to read the little essays, then follow along with the reading prompts and test her skills by answering the questions that are in this book. With Estrella, she also uses apps to help with her other skills, but having this Reading Skills book has really come in handy, and she actually enjoys challenging herself each day, when we sit down together to test out her skills. Then for Robert, with him heading into Kindergarten this year, I found the Number Dot-to-Dot workbook to not only be a fun activity book, but he is exercising his counting skills at the same time, which will help him out in the long run this coming year. Another great thing that I love about the Dot-to-Dot activity book is that it also teaches him to follow directions, which is a plus for any kid starting out in school! To go along with the counting activities in the Dot-to-Dot book, Robert also has loved working along in The Complete Book of Sight Words book.

With this activity book, he not only learns to recognize and write out the words several times, but he also has fun with the activities that go along with each new word he learns. All together, we have found the books from Flash Kids to really be helpful and fun for my kids, and I love that I can go on the Flash Kids site and find many more books and flash cards that can help my kids along and excel academically in the different subjects at school, from language skills to math skills! I love that the people from Flash Kids understand that parents, educators and kids need to make learning fun, and also working together enhances that fun aspect as well, so having the variety of books and flashcards at home helps achieve those learning goals in a fun way. Well, to help my readers have some fun teaching their own kids, the wonderful people from Flash Kids are hosting a Flash Kids Blog Tour, where you can check out the reviews and giveaways from other bloggers! For the stop at Mommy Katie in this blog tour, the wonderful people from Flash Kids would like to give one of my amazing readers The Complete Book of Sight Words which is great for kids age 4-9!
