Gorton's Real Fabulous Review

Finding foods that the whole family can enjoy is something I aim for. I mean, we all have our likes and dislikes, so when I have everyone at the table, I want to be able to serve a meal that everyone can enjoy together. I think one thing that we can all enjoy as a family is seafood. When it comes to my kids, they can be picky, especially Robert, but when it comes to seafood, he is not too particular, in fact, seafood is a item that everyone can agree on when I ask what everyone would like for dinner. One brand of seafood that I enjoy putting on our dinner table is Gorton’s Seafood. I like the variety, from the battered seafood to the grilled, I can find a different item from their line to serve every night, and know that everyone will enjoy it! Recently I was sent a great pack of products from the Gorton’s Crew, which included a spatula, 2 oven mitts, some great recipe cards for the Gorton’s Grilled Seafood products, and some coupons so that I could purchase some complimentary grilled seafood products.

For the review, I honestly had a hard time finding just a few of the grilled seafood items to go with, I mean, knowing that I really can not go wrong, even when it comes to my picky eater, really puts a lot of options on the table when choosing what dish to go with and what grilled item to choose. I chose to go with the Grilled Tilapia Tacos and with this recipe I was able to get 5 fish tacos.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Prepare grilled fillets according to package directions.  Cool slightly. Cut each fillet lengthwise into 5 strips.
  2. Fill taco shells with lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapenos (if desired).   Place 2 fillet strips in each taco.  Top with shredded cheese.

This dish was not only a dish that I knew would be a hit in my house due to the fact everyone loves their tacos, but I really appreciated how simple it was to put together and that it took under 30 minutes to prepare, which for a busy mom the prep and cook time can make all the difference. I can also appreciate that when I serve the Gorton’s Grilled Seafood, I am looking at about 100 calories or less, which is a plus in my book! So if you are looking for something to cook for dinner, add Gorton’s Grilled Seafood to the menu, and also be sure to check out the great recipes they have online! While you are on the Gorton’s site, be sure to enter the Real Fabulous Sweepstakes and enter to win a $1,000 makeover! Well to get your menu geared up with some Gorton’s Grilled Seafood products, the wonderful people from Gorton’s would like to give one of my readers a Gorton’s Seafood Prize Pack similar to the one I was sent! Also be sure to get your printable coupons here.
