When it comes to football, I always think of the awkward kid, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts Gang! I can remember Lucy, always tricking Charlie Brown into kicking the ball, then as he would run towards it, she would pull the ball up, so that he would fall. As a kid, my parents would watch the Super Bowl, as my sister and I would watch Charlie Brown cartoons. Well this year, to continue that Super Bowl tradition with my own kids, I will be sharing the new Peanuts Deluxe Edition: Touchdown Charlie Brown! on DVD! I was sent this great collection of Charlie Brown cartoons to share with my family, and we found that not only will this collection be a great edition for this years Super Bowl Party for the kids, but it also makes a great collection for our family movie nights! When you bring home Peanuts Deluxe Edition: Touchdown Charlie Brown! you will get the shows which include, “It’s Your First Kiss Charlie Brown”, along with 3 episodes of “The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show”. In the show, “It’s Your First Kiss Charlie Brown”, Charlie Brown finds himself the placekicker in the homecoming game, and with his luck, he finds Lucy as his placekick setter. As the game lies on Charlie Brown’s kick, Lucy must fight that urge she has to pull the ball up as Charlie Brown goes to kick it. Aside from the pressure of the game, Charlie and his best friend Linus are chosen as escorts for the homecoming queen, who happens to be the adorable red headed girl whom Charlie has a big crush on. At the dance, Charlie dances with his crush. To find out what happens at the dance, well you will just have to watch it! In all we found this Charlie Brown set of shows to make for a great addition to our family movie collection as well as a great set of shows for the kids to watch during the big game!
