Today is National Moscato Day, and in true celebration, we are enjoying a variety of Moscato’s that were sent to use from Gallo Family Vineyards. With the different Moscato’s, you can find a variety of ways to drink and enjoy. I like the sweetness that the Moscato offers, which is why I find the White Moscato to be a great fit for when making some fruity sangria. The sangria I made with the White Moscato from Argentina, I added a splash cherry grenadine, some lemon lime soda, and fresh oranges and strawberries over ice!
Another great moscato recipe that was shared with me is a Moscato Ginger Margarita.
1 1/4 ounces GFV Moscato
1 ounce silver tequila
1 1/3 ounces lime juice
1/2 ounce orange juice
1/4 ounce ginger simple syrup
Rock salt
Lime wheel for garnish
Preparation
Combine moscato, tequila, lime juice, orange juice, and ginger syrup in an ice-filled shaker. Salt the rim. Carefully add ice to the glass, then empty shaker into glass. Garnish with lime wheel.
So get your Moscato, and try these great recipes as well as others that you can find on the Gallo Family Wine Blog and join in on the celebrations! Also have some fun by taking the quiz and Moscatofy yourself!

I would love to try that recipe for a Moscato Ginger Margarita! Sounds delicious!
My sister enjoys an occasional glass of wine and also a margarita so she would probably love both of these. I think she likes a nice white wine so that one would be her choice.
