When it comes to the laundry, it seems that it can be a never ending chore. We have a full house, with 3 kids, who are very active kids, so with laundry, I have my fair share of it. As a mom, I know our kids are not gentle on their clothes, in fact, well they are quite rough on them, running, rolling around, playing in the mud, climbing trees and whatever else they can find a adventure in. So when it comes to taking care of the clothes, I want to try to be as gentle as I can on them, but also, get them clean, so they can be worn again and hold up as long as possible when the kids wear them.
This is also the case when it comes to my own clothes, I mean, unlike the kids, I do try to take care of the clothes I wear, and I do not grow out of them every few months, so I want mine to last as well, and not be damaged over time by the wash. So when I was sent a Starter Kit from Roux Maison to review, I was curious to see if it could do the job, as well as be gentle on our laundry.
After the kit arrived, I noticed that there were products that are meant for loads like my kids laundry with the sport detergent, then a delicate detergent for when I wash some of the babies items and my own items, a stain remover, which is a essential item to have in my laundry room, and a basic essentials detergent, for our everyday loads!
I like that there are no harsh chemicals in the line of products, and after a few loads, I noticed that there are no residues left behind. They are also biodegradable and safe of septic tanks, which is always a plus when using products in the home. I can really appreciate that the products are all natural, so they are safe to use on any of our loads, even when washing the items for the baby, or when washing Estrella’s clothes, I can use the fragrance free products, since she has very sensitive skin.
I also like, that they do the job, leaving my laundry not only residue free, but also clean, and fresh, and just a little bit goes a long way!
