Finding movies to share on our family movie nights, that are both entertaining and kid friendly, is what I aim for, so when we were sent the movies, The Hobbit, and The Return of the King, Deluxe Editions to review, I knew they would make a great fit on our movie nights!
With both of these movies, you get the animated versions of the hit books by, J.R.R. Tolkein, starting with The Hobbit, where with both movies, you find a world long ago, where humans, elves, hobbits, wizards and other mystical creatures, coexisted side by side, and teamed up to fight a battle against evil. In The Hobbit, you get the very peaceful, homebody hobbit, who embarks on a journey like no other. One filled with magic and danger, one that changes his life forever.
Then in the movie, The Return of the King, you find Frodo, who is also a hobbit, who faces a great battle, one that is part of The Lord of the Ring Series, where he must fight evil in Middle Earth in order to restore the peace on Earth!
We found both of these movies to be great versions of the books, and a very kid friendly set that is great for any given family movie night! Both of these movies are available to bring home and share with your family today!
