Luma Comfort Cool Mist Humidifier

With the cooler weather upon us, I find that we not only have more of those sniffling noses in my home, but we also get a lot more of that dry skin and the unwanted colds and flu into our home. We know that in order to stay warm is to stay indoors and keep the heater and logs burning on the fire, but even though these might warm the home and my family, they can also dry out the air. As a mom I find that having a humidifier going helps not only during the allergy season in my home, but also during the cooler weather months. In my home with having allergies that are apparent year round, and a child with asthma, even during the summer months it is crucial that we have a humidifier in the various rooms in my home. So to help keep the moisture in the air, even when the heater and fire is going, I was sent a Luma Comfort Cool Mist Humidifier to review.

This is a must have item for the home during these cooler months, especially when the heater is running and the fire is burning. The Luma Comfort has different levels that I can choose from, so I can ensure that we have the right amount of moisture in the air at different times. I like that it puts out a cool mist, adding moisture to dry air in the home, and also helping to soothe cough and cold symptoms. I also like that I can use the water from my tap, and that the fill up process is easy. Then with the demineralization cartridge, I can feel better about the quality of air that is coming out of my humidifier.

I found the set up process to be very easy, from the putting the water in the water chamber to attaching the other pieces. Once it was put together, I waited about 5 minutes before plugging it in and powering it up. I like that I can control the levels of humidity with the remote control that came with it, and that I can also power it on and off with this remote. Aside from the 3 basic pieces that I used in the assembly process, there are also a couple of other pieces, giving me choices on how I would like it to look when putting it in different spaces around my home.

The design is very sleek, making it a great piece to add to any room, and with the whisper quiet operation, I can run it in my room, the kids room, nursery, living room, or even office!
