Adventure Awaits You with the 2017 Toyota Tundra Limited CrewMax

When it comes to the weekends and finding things to do with the family, we like to seek out the adventures that are nearby. We have found that in the area we live in, there are plenty of adventures to be had, which allows us to take on new ones every chance we get. So when we were sent the 2017 Toyota Tundra Limited CrewMax to check out and take on our weekend adventures, we were excited to head to a Forks, WA, to take on a fun Twilight themed adventure with the kids.

Being a family of 5, we found the room that the truck offered was more than enough. Allowing us to all sit in the cab, where the front gave both the driver and passenger plenty of comfort and legroom, and the passengers in the crew cab to also find the comfort that can be difficult to get when riding in a truck. This comfort aspect was a huge plus, since the drive to Forks, was one that took us along the Olympic Peninsula that we live on. Giving us a road trip worthy truck that along with the comfort, gave us a ride that was very smooth, room in the bed for our luggage and fishing gear, and entertainment features that were also very handy to have on our drive.

We took on our road trip adventure to Forks shortly after the kids got out of school on Friday, which did not give us very much sunlight to enjoy. This was not a issue at all, because once we got on some of the more remote seaside roads, the headlights provided plenty of light and automatically turned on and off the brights when needed as we drove at night. Along with the lights being able to detect when the brights were needed, we also found the ability to adjust the lights themselves to the angles needed was a huge plus, especially if you were to put the tow package to use.

Then when it came to the fuel mileage and power that you get with the 2017 Toyota Tundra Limited CrewMax, we found ourselves pleasantly surprised. When accelerating or needing more power to go up some of the mountain roads we encountered, we liked that this truck did it very easily, to where we did not feel any difference from the extra needed at times. We also found we were very impressed by the fuel mileage, where we were able to take a road trip that took us on windy mountain passes, explore the town of Forks and even head out for a drive to La Push beach, and back home on one tank. Which is impressive, especially compared to other trucks we have driven where we would have needed to fill up at least 2 times to complete such a trip. Making the 2017 Toyota Tundra Limited CrewMax not only a truck that is made to take on tough jobs and towing, but one that provides comfort and power for any adventures you might want to take on as well!

I was loaned a vehicle for a week long test drive, thank you to Drive Shop USA for supplying me with the vehicle for this review, all opinions are my own.
