In my house, the countdown for summer is on, and the kids are ecstatic. They are not only excited to let the summer vacation start, but they are also excited to start this years Brain Chase! In fact, with this years adventure having the theme of the Sunstone of Cortes, my kids have been looking up the stories, and finding that the countdown for the big adventure to start, is just as exciting as their countdown for summer!
From a parents point of view, I like the excitement I see in my kids when it comes to this years adventure from Brain Chase. I like knowing that when the chase begins, my kids will be interacting by breaking the codes each week. This will be done by logging into the dashboard, watching the video, taking on the challenges which include reading, writing, math and even a bonus challenge. Making it so they will not only be having fun, but they will keep those minds of their going, even while we are on summer break, so we can combat that dreaded summer brain drain!
Another plus about the challenge is, even though I have kids of different ages, they can each have their own accounts, so they can take on challenges that they will understand and that are age appropriate since the challenge is made for kids ages 6-16! Also, with this years chase, we can choose to add a language module, giving my kids the choice to choose from over 30 languages, that is designed by Rosetta Stone, in place of the writing challenges. With this feature, they will be challenged to complete 2 lessons in a little over an hour each week so they can complete their language challenge!
Oh and if that is not enough of a kicker when it comes to the excitement, we can even get our kids teachers excited, because right now when teachers get their students to sign up, they can get $15 per student! Aside from the online Brain Chase Challenge, there are also some fun Library Challenges taking place in various cities, where throughout the month of May, Brain Chase will be hosting 4 Library Challenges.
In these challenges they will be hiding a $1,000 voucher along with a complementary Brain Chase registration, in the city libraries. The challenges will take place in Salt Lake City on May 4th, in Seattle on May 11th, in Boston on May 18th, and in Orange County on June 1st! To find the location, there will be a unique riddle, which will lead to an adventure where you will find the exact location of the prize. Making it not only a family event, but one where the whole community can get involved in!
So this summer, sign your kids up for Brain Chase. Once they have the challenges completed, they can then unlock the codes, the codes that will bring them closer to solving the case, which can in hand lead them to the treasure that contains a $10,000 scholarship!
This post was brought to you by the people from Brain Chase. I was chosen to participate in this sponsored post through The Motherhood, all opinions are my own.
