When thinking about summer and menu planning, I like to find the freshest and healthiest ingredients. This post is one that is sponsored by the people from Foster Farms®, and aside from being compensated for my opinions, I was also given coupons to use for sampling the food for this post as well.
The summer months are upon us, and like so many others out there, we enjoy finding those foods to cook and serve to the family and friends during our summer cookouts. When it comes to finding the meats and foods we will use to cook with, we enjoy finding the freshest ingredients we can, from cooking our own pinto beans for a pot of baked beans and fresh salad as sides, to getting our chicken from the Foster Farms® Simply Raised selection at our local grocery store or Costco.
I like knowing that when we shop the Foster Farms® Simply Raised line of chicken at our local grocer, I can prepare and serve my family a line of chicken that is antibiotic free. I also like that with the line of Simply Raised Chicken, the chickens are given 100% vegetarian feed, are American Humane Certified, and that they are locally grown throughout OR, CA, and WA. Then when it comes to the added health aspects of serving the Foster Farms® Simply Raised, there is no added sodium, the chickens are raised 100% natural and are minimally processed with no additives, preservatives, steroids or hormones.
The idea behind the healthy living is not only one that my family and friends look for when we shop by shopping local and organic lines of products, but it is also an idea that many other millennial parents seek out as well when they are shopping for their families. In fact, when it came to a new independent survey that was conducted on 1,800 West Coast Millennial Households 85 % of millennial parents indicated that their criteria for buying meat and poultry has changed over the last several years and 42% indicated having a child as the primary reason. Finding that millennial parents are choosing antibiotic free and organic poultry to feed their families over other poultry options out there.
Aside from the health aspects we get from choosing the products from Foster Farms®, I like knowing that we are also supporting a family-owned and operated business that has been in business since 1939. Foster Farms® is also the leading poultry producer here on the west coast, and now that we can get the Foster Farms® Fresh Organic and Simply Raised antibiotic free lines, we can find something for everyone to enjoy from the Foster Farms® line, when we plan our cookouts. Making Foster Farms® Simply Raised not only a great go to selection for my family when we do our shopping, but also a great selection for anyone when planning those summer get togethers and cookouts!

Yum! Your chicken came out awesome, love the baked beans too, we add KC masterpeice BBQ sauce to ours and dice up some onions and throw them in there too. We will be throwing some chicken on the grill today, making chicken kabobs and BBQ chicken.
I've never seen this brand of chicken before, but it looks great!
I love that it's antibiotic free!
