As our kids grow older we as parents, grandparents and caregivers like to create memories and have photos and keepsakes that can help us to remember the special times in our lives. I have found that by having fun projects that we can do with our kids, that we not only have fun creating them at the time, but we also have fun displaying them and reminiscing on them for years to come. So when we were sent the 3D Coin Art Flag to build and review, we were excited to check it out.
With the 3D Coin Art, we can collect coins that can be used to create a piece of art that resembles the United States Flag. We can use coins that are from certain dates that have meaning to us, ones that we find when we are out having fun to mark the moment, and giving us a project that we can involve all of our kids in. In this puzzle kit, we get the pieces to help us get started on our project that include 2 coin trays, 2 coin lids, 2 coin counters, a stand with 2 brackets, stickers, and the instruction sheet.
To get started, we can begin collecting the pennies, nickels and dimes which will be used to create our puzzle. As we fill up the coin counters, we can then start putting together our puzzle which snaps together once the trays are filled. For the pennies, we add them to the part of the flag that would represent the red stripes, the nickels go in the place that represents the white stripes, then the dimes are put in place to make up the stars that are in the United States Flag!
Then once we have completed our flag, we can place the stickers on, put the stand together, and display our flag for all to see on the mantle!
