The holiday shopping season is upon us, it is time to shop for those Thanksgiving meals, find the items to help keep your guests entertained, and also time to start seeking out the gifts to give this coming holiday season as well. I have noticed that when I head out to the stores, I am seeing the displays, seeing the ads, and finding that I am curious about which toys will be a must have this coming season. And like many, I turn to my kids who seem to be in the know when it comes to those hot must have gifts to get this year. I have found that over the years, when it comes to the gifts that my kids enjoy getting that tech toys and video games seem to be a popular request in my home. So when we were sent the new Skylanders Imaginators to review, I was excited to check them out, add them to our Skylanders collection and see when my kids thought about them.
With the Skylanders Imaginators, you get a whole new game of Skylanders where you can create your own characters! You can choose the body parts, powers, their catch phrases, theme music and more all with the Creation Crystals. Along with the Creation Crystals, you get a new story line of game play to follow, giving your kids the power to control even more in the Skylanders world and make it their own.
When you get the new Skylanders Imaginators Starter Packs, you find 2 of the new Skylanders Senseis along with a Creation Crystal, a Portal of Power and a game disk. With the 2 Senseis that you get you can then grow your world by adding more of the new characters which include 20 characters and 11 villains, including that infamous, Kaos who is back and ready to stir up some more trouble.
Then to add even more Skylanders fun to the mix, with the new game that you can bring home for your kids to put under the tree this year, you can also download the new mobile Skylanders app called Skylanders Creator. The app is similar to the game play where they can create new characters, but allows you and your kids to create the characters from scratch. Once you have created new characters it also allows you to transfer the characters that are created on the app to the game using special audio technology! Making both the new Skylanders Imaginators and the Skylanders Creator App, must haves for this coming holiday season when it comes to finding those gifts that the whole family can enjoy together!
