With the holidays coming up and the weather getting colder, we find that we tend to spend a lot more time indoors and with our families. Like many households, we have our family game nights, and with those nights, we enjoy adding new games that are fun and ones that everyone can enjoy playing. So when we were introduced to the game, Mouthguard Challenge from the Identity Games collection, I was excited to share it with my family during family game night.
With this game you can play with 2-5 players, and each player gets their own mouth guard to use during game play. Once everyone is ready to start, you shuffle the cards that are in the pack that is included and begin.
We found the various tasks to be a lot of fun, ones that had everyone laughing and ready to try and take on the challenges at hand while having a mouth guard in place. The game said ages 16 and up, but we were able to have fun and play with our teen and 8 year old since they were both able to get the mouth guards in without any issues.
Then when it comes to the challenges, we found that there are 51 challenges that you can do, and each card offers different ways to approach the challenges, depending on the color that is outlined on the cards. The kids had fun trying these challenges, and as you can see in the photo of my kids above, they can get a little messy, where you might have to try to eat peanut butter from a spoon, all while the mouth guard is in and more! Which in all, made the game Mouthguard Challenge from Identity Games a great game to have for family game night, and even a fun gift to give this coming holiday season! You can find the game of Mouthguard Challenge at Amazon, Hallmark and specialty stores this season.
This game looks like a lot of fun!! My kids would have a blast playing it. I will have to try and get it for them.
I saw Ellen play this on her show with a celebrity and it was hilarious! My family would love to try and play this!
