Make your air smell fresh with Azuna

Raise your hand if you have really started to notice the smells in your house now that you are spending much more time at home, whether working, learning, or taking care of the family. Some of the sources for the smells are really hard to identify and some are stubbornly resistant to remove. We have tried all kinds of solutions from sprays to scented candles with varying degrees of success, and are always on the lookout that something that works well without putting out more chemicals in the air and works all the time. We recently got to try out a new set of products that claim to do just that and make your air smell fresh: Azuna Anti-Microbial Odor Eliminator and were pleasantly surprised with the experience.

Air smell fresh

Azuna is a low concentrate tea tree gel that comes in a small, sleek puck-shaped container. The delivery mechanism Azuna uses is through making the particles from the gel airborne rather than through droplets like in a high concentrate diffuser. Azuna uses 100% natural and environmentally safe tea tree oil from Australia. The gel form of Azuna allows it to absorb the mildew, bacteria, fungus, and odors from the room which it is placed in, rather than masking the issue as most air fresheners do. They also claim to be able to reduce mold and mildew, even from bathrooms, and if true, that would indeed be a unique feature worth checking out.

Air smell fresh

Azuna currently comes with three scents to choose from: Natural Scent, Simply Citrus, and Pure Vanilla. All of these scents are very pleasant and subtle, not the overpowering smells that some other products have. The Pure Vanilla would be my favorite of the three, and that is what I have right next to me as I type as in these words. The products claim to last for 60-90 days (depending on conditions), and there may be something to claim as we have had our ‘pucks’ out for a few weeks and they still seem to be smelling the same as day one.

While we can’t really test for the anti-microbial property claims, we do really like the cool form factor of the product (it is small and can be placed on any flat surface in any room of the house). We also like that the containers can be re-used by purchasing the re-fill pouch: yay for recycle and reuse!
