Pamper Yourself with Treets Traditions Relaxing Chakra's Body Scrub

We are always on the lookout for unique skin and bodycare solutions and, with the long-awaited arrival of summer just a few weeks away, we need to be even more mindful of treating our skin well. That is where high quality body care products like Treets Traditions come into the picture.   This is a new brand of products for me, but I was interested in their claim to base their unique product formulas on ancient traditional and natural skincare remedies
and blends.

After the long Minnesota winter, I was looking forward to polishing and hydrating my skin and was lucky enough to try the Treets Traditions Relaxing Chakra’s Body Scrub. From their website the product line is described as: “The natural body care products from Relaxing Chakra’s prioritize relaxation with their sweet and powdery aroma. The ancestral recipes from this line honor the generations of well-being and consciousness of Asian women.” I love that this product line claims to be free from parabens, silicones, colorants, minerals oil and SLS and SLES. Pretty much, there is no yucky stuff in it.  Bonus!

This body scrub has beautiful packaging and has a very high quality appearance (it would definitely make a beautiful gift with just a ribbon for adornment). The box is very sturdy and it was foil wrapped on the inside to make sure it didn’t leak.

As soon as I removed the foil, I loved the amazing rose scent. It was not overpowering and smelled like real roses.  The little pink spoon (so cute!) was great to recombine the natural ingredients. The directions instructed to gently massage on wet skin. I hopped in the shower and did just that. I used the spoon and took a big scoop. I used that scoop for the upper part of my body. A little bit went a long way! It smelled amazing and I could feel a difference in my skin right away. The scrub took the dead skin off the top and the coconut oil moisturized my skin. After my shower, I threw the little spoon away, but I know some people prefer to keep it so they don’t get the scrub under their fingernails – it’s a preference thing!

According to the website, this product is dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types. I would have to agree. I tend to have sensitive skin and I didn’t get any reactions from the body scrub.

The cover of the container goes on nice and tight so you can leave this in your shower and not worry about water getting in it. The scrub does make the floor of your shower slippery so proceed with caution and rinse the shower out after. I usually feel so itchy after a shower due to our hard water. When I started using this body scrub, I noticed a lot less itchiness. I leave the shower with soft skin, but not glowing like the claims on the container (if only I could get a good night’s sleep in a jar too!). My skin feels soft for the whole day thanks to the coconut oil.

I would definitely recommend this scrub! I liked the natural ingredients and felt it was effective in helping me get my skin ready for summer’s more revealing clothes.  It makes a great gift for moms, grads or any other loved one you are looking to spoil with spa-quality products.
