Holiday Guide: Holiday Travel in the 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring

It is hard to believe that in less than 2 weeks, Christmas will be here. But it is true and with that we find that it is time to get those last minute gifts together, and also get those holiday plan details into order. This includes not just what to pack as we head out on those road trips to see and spend the holidays with loved ones, but also the vehicle that we will be using to take on those road trips. Like many who has kids, I find when we head out for road trips that we want to do so in a vehicle that offers comfort, safety and even some style! So when we were given the chance to check out the 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring, I was not only excited to check out all of the specs this car offers but also add it to this years holiday guide as a great vehicle to add to your travel plans and also to the family gift list!

First off, when it comes to style, this car has it. The sleek body of this midsize family sedan gives you a look that has a somewhat sporty look to it without compromising the room and comfort you get inside. The trunk also was a shocker for me since it offers plenty of room for everyone to put their bags in without having to use any extra space in the main part of the car. This can also be a great feature when doing some of that holiday shopping, where we can keep quite a few gifts in the trunk, hidden until you get home to unload them.

Then when it comes to the features and comfort that can be found inside the car, there is plenty to look at. First off, with the cold weather upon us, I found the heated seats in both the front seats as well as the backseats can really help to make getting in the vehicle on a cold day, a lot more bearable. I also found the heating function on the steering wheel to be a huge plus, to where even when my hands were cold with gloves on, they quickly warmed up as I drove. There is a backup camera, navigation option, as well as hands free Standard MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system which are all great features to have. Along with the features that offer comfort and safety, another safety feature that I enjoyed was the heads up display Active Driving Display, which allows you to monitor your speeds, get the information on what the speed limit is where you are currently driving and keep your eyes on the road at the same time! Giving drivers a vehicle that has the features available that are there to make the driving experience very user friendly, and making the choice to add the 2017 Mazda6 Grand Touring to your holiday checklist, a choice that you and your family will be glad you made!
