When it comes to seeking the toys that the kids are sure to enjoy seeing under the tree this year, I find that adding those fun tech toys can be a great choice to go with. Like many kids, mine enjoy their screen times, earning the time they can use to play educational games and explore the creative apps we come across along with the toys we might find to go with those apps. So when we were sent the Ocean Pets from Pai Technology to review, I knew that Heather would enjoy checking them out and adding them to this years holiday guide!
First off, when it comes to apps and the toys we can purchase to go with various apps, my kids are all in. Being a homeschooling parent, I find that the apps and toys that go with the apps which engage the kids gives us that perfect fun activity to enjoy in between lessons and on those rainy days we get here in Washington. And with the Ocean Pets from Pai Technologies, I like that it is a fun and educational toy that combines physical play with digital play. To get started, the kids can pick which fish they want to mold, use the molding tools and putty to mold it, then scan with the app to make it come to life. The kids learn fun scientific facts about the fish they create and the more they feed them and play with them, the more games they can unlock. I like that the kids can collect their fish in the digital world and watch them swim in the ocean or they can switch it and watch them swim in their world. Then when the kids are done, you can either let it dry and pop it out of the mold to play with or take it apart and reuse the putty for another fish. This Ocean Pets set includes:
2 putty tools
8 shaping molds
8colors of putty (orange, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and white)
1 cushion
This is sure to delight any kiddo and engage their creative side, and after seeing this in action I have to say that this is a parenting win! As we all know kids now a day love their electronics, so why not only make it fun but educational as well. Making the choice to add the Ocean Pets to your holiday shopping list a choice that you and your kids are sure to appreciate!
Product received, thank you to Pai Technologies as well as the PR for supplying me with a product for this review, all opinions are my own.
This is interesting. I've never seen anything like this before. I like the interactive aspect.
I like anything educational and creative. I really like that there is a learning aspect to this that would lead to more exploration and talking. This is a very neat idea.ellen beck
