When it comes to taking our dogs for walks, we find that Nakoma enjoys exploring and walking ahead. The thing is, when she is on the leash when we are not at the dog park, the leash we had can limit her to that exploration and fun she looks forward to, leaving her restricted. So when we were sent the Petmate K9 Control Retractable Leash to review, I was excited to check it out and see how well Nakoma liked it when we used it for walks.
With this leash, we get a retractable leash that retracts in the lock or stop position. This allows Nakoma to go ahead of us on walks and explore when we are in areas she is able to do that and limiting the leash length when we are in areas where she needs to be close to us. We can also safely pull back Nakoma when we are walks without the worry of extra slack or tangling in the leash due to the Zero Slack Technology. Giving us a leash that is perfect for us to use for our Nakoma when we are out with her and making the Petmate K9 Control Retractable Leash a great choice to go with for pet parents who are seeking a great retractable leash solution!

Retractable leashes are great…especially when you are walking a large dog with a lot of strength!
