When it comes to baking with the kids, I find that I like to seek out the recipes that are fairly simple to create. The thing is, when it comes to finding the ingredients and putting everything together, we can run into snags along the way. Like when it comes to the measurements, or ensuring we have enough of the certain required ingredients on hand when we start baking. And like many moms out there, Heather finds that with a house full of kids, that when the kids want to bake, the supplies that we need can get mixed up, lost or not measured out properly. So when we were sent the 4-Pack of Best Sellers from the Scratch & Grain Baking Co, I knew that Heather would enjoy checking them out and making them with her kids in the kitchen! First off, let me just say, these are delicious and super easy to use! The kids are designed to take the measuring out, so it makes it easier to bake with your kids or for just yourself. You only need to add a few ingredients and follow the easy step by step instructions on the back and I like that as we go along with the directions, that the packets are numbered and easy to open. With this set, we received 4  great mixes:

1 cookie kit (chocolate chip)
1 honey cornbread kit
1 cheesecake brownie kit
1 confetti cupcake kit

For me personally, I love cornbread, so when we made the cornbread with dinner, I was not only very pleased at how tasty it was, but the kids were impressed as well and they all wanted more. Needless to say, it was a hit! The light sweet taste of  honey on the cornbread was perfect, and I really liked that along with the flavor, that it had a moist texture, giving it a really amazing goodness.

With the cheesecake brownie kit I made, I found that it was gone just as quick as I placed the bars out, and it is safe to say that everyone enjoyed them a lot. The brownie was soft, fudge like, and moist, and the cheesecake swirls were rich and creamy. This was a great combination  together and well I wish I would have gotten another piece!

The cookie kit was another here today, gone tomorrow kit as well. The better the taste, the faster it disappears and this was gone fast! The  cookies were chewy and gooey. Just how we like them. And I liked that they stayed nice and thick during the baking process. After giving them a try in my house, I found that these would be great to make ice cream sandwiches out of for everyone to enjoy during these hot summer days!

Then last but not least, we found the confetti cupcakes to be another dessert that was short lived in my house. They didn’t last much  longer than the last two. The cake was light and airy, and with this kit, you get to choose one of two frostings to top the cupcakes with. After a vote in the house, we went with the butter cream, which was a good choice and was just as  delicious as the cake, giving us a perfect pairing. Naturally, we found everything in these kits to be so tasty and delicious, it was hard not to eat it. All of  their products are GMO free, preservative free and certified Kosher. They  make them in gluten free and also organic. You can tell by the taste  they are made with high quality ingredients, and I found that I had a lot of fun making these with my kiddos. Which in my book, makes the choice to add the selections you can find from Scratch & Grain Baking Co. a selection that not only allows you to easily bake in the kitchen with the kids, but also gives you a selection of baked goods that everyone is sure to enjoy!
