As we make those plans for the upcoming holiday break, I find that aside from all of the meal planning, game nights and catching up with family, that we also enjoy finding those fun family movies to watch. Like many, I grew up with those classic Disney movies in the home, and like many, I found that iconic tale of a boy and his dragon in the movie, Pete’s Dragon, to be one of my favorites. So when we were sent the all new movie of Disney’s Pete’s Dragon to review, I was excited to check it out as well as add it to my list of family favorites that are both great for watching together as well as giving as a holiday gift this year.
See in this movie, you get that same magical story, that has been redone and brought to life like never before! We love that the story is still just as magical as ever and with the all new dragon, you get a furry and friendly dragon, who breathes fire and can go invisible. I like that just like the original movie, that this version covers those same magical aspects of friendship, family, and the journey of finding ones place in the world! Which makes the movie, Disney’s Pete’s Dragon, a instant classic to add to any family movie night as well as a great gift to give this coming holiday season!
