#Giveaway Holiday Meals Inspired by Chef Gordon Ramsay and Philips Airfryer

This post was sponsored by Philips through a campaign with their PR. All opinions are my own.

It is hard to believe that we are already halfway through the month of November and the holidays are sneaking up on us. But the fact of the matter is that yes, in just a little over a week we will be greeting guests and preparing those big feasts, to then turn around and begin getting ready for the holiday shopping. Like many, when it comes to planning out those meals to get us through the season, I like to seek out the dishes that offer flavor and foods that the whole family can enjoy. So when I was given some recipe creations from Chef Gordon Ramsay to try out in my Philips Airfryer, I was excited to try some out and add them to my list of menu ideas for the family.

I have found that when I cook with my Philips Airfryer that I can do just about anything in it, cutting the cook time and also preserving the flavors of the foods. I have learned that I can do more than just fry too, by also baking, grilling and roasting in it. I also like that with my Philips Airfryer, that I can create amazing dishes that offer a healthier solution for me and my family and knowing that we can still indulge in those foods we love without having to worry about the extra fats or grease.

Well after looking over the selection of mouth watering dishes to try from the selection of recipes I was sent from the recipe creations by Gordon Ramsay, I decided to go with a couple that I knew my family and I would enjoy. For the kids, we went with the turkey sliders with a side salad and pan roasted fingerling potatoes. You can get the recipe for the turkey sliders and side salad below:

This recipe is one that is filled with amazing flavor and one that the kids not only enjoyed but that we did as well. I liked how instead of baking the sliders in the oven or cooking on the stove top like I have done in the past, that I was able to cut the cook time down and use my Philips Airfryer to cook the sliders with. I also like that when I use my Philips Airfryer for cooking things such as turkey sliders, where I worry about the center being cooked through, that I can breathe easy knowing that the airfryer offers a even cook. You get this even cook with the unique starfish design, which when in action has hot air that circulates 360 degrees around the food, delivering perfect, evenly cooked food that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

When we chose a recipe to cook for the kids, my husband and I had also decided to go with another one of the dishes from the list of creations by Gordon Ramsay to use in our Philips Airfryer. The selection was a hard one for me because all of the dishes looked amazing and they were all ones that I could cook using my Philips Airfryer. But after my husband took a look at the list of recipes he decided that he wanted to try one out as well and he chose to go with the mouth watering, Coffee and Chili Rubbed Ribeye Steak with Pan Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Compound Herb Butter. You can find the recipe we followed below:

First off I have to say that just the prep of this recipe was one that had my mouth watering. The rub that my husband made to go on our steak smelled heavenly, and as it cooked, well that smell lingered in the house, filling the house with an amazing aroma! After it had completed and my husband plated the dish, I was in heaven. I mean the steak had flavor that was something that I would expect going to a steakhouse, and you could see how juicy it was with each cut that we made! The compound butter was also surprising to me as well, it gave just the right amount of flavor to the steak that really seemed to compliment the other flavors that we had going.

Then when it came to the pan roasted fingerling potatoes that we chose to make with both dishes, well those turned out amazing as well. They were simple to prepare and just like with the meats that we cooked, we got a even cook through each potato without the issue of having a few that needed just a few more minutes. You can get the recipe for the potatoes below:

I have found that being able to adjust the temperatures for various recipes allows me to really explore and cook just about anything in the Philips Airfryer. The Philips Airfryer is not only a great product to have in any kitchen, but will also make for a great gift to give this holiday season. You can find the Philips Airfryer in two different sizes and retails between $199 and $349. It is available for purchase at Williams-Sonoma, Bed Bath & Beyond, HSN, Best Buy, Amazon and other fine retailers. And to help with bringing those meals together for you and your family over the busy holiday season, the wonderful people from Philips would like to give one of my amazing readers their own Philips Viva Airfryer and a copy of Gordon Ramsay’s Home Cooking cookbook.
