Summer Barbecues with Kings Hawaiian Sauces

Summer will be here soon and like many, I enjoy looking forward to those backyard cookouts and barbecues with friends and family! For me, I find it an excuse to spend as much time enjoying the outdoors as I can, and when we find delicious new products to add to our meals we cook outside, I enjoy checking them out and sharing them. Recently I was sent a fun pack of products to help get myself and my family backyard cookout ready when I was sent some of the new barbecue sauces from King’s Hawaiian.

Just like we have added the rolls and buns to our backyard cookouts in the past, we have now found a new line of products that we can add to our menu when we use the King’s Hawaiian sauces. In our pack of goodies, we were sent a great selection of tools to help us create some amazing mouthwatering meals when we fire up the grill. Along with the tools, we also found the apron, sunglasses, and sauces as well as the recipe ideas, to help make the adding of the new sauces a fun one for everyone!

To get us barbecue season ready, we headed out to pick up some chicken, avocados, King’s Hawaiian hamburger buns, and some mac n cheese. We chose to go with the Original Barbecue Sauce from the King’s Hawaiian line up of sauces. And once we had the ingredients ready, we put them together to create some mouthwatering barbecue chicken and mac sandwiches! When we asked for everyone’s opinion on the sauce that was used, well I think the fact that there was nothing left on anyone’s plate was a key indicator that they enjoyed the sandwiches. We all agreed that the sauce brought that delicious barbecue flavor to the dish, making the choice to use the King’s Hawaiian Original Barbecue Sauce, a great one!

So if you are ready to get your backyard party started with some delicious foods to serve your guests, be sure to pick up some of the new sauces from the King’s Hawaiian line!

King’s Hawaiian Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches with Mac n Cheese:

1 bottle King’s Hawaiian Original Barbecue Sauce
2 chicken breasts (boneless skinless)
1 pack of King’s Hawaiian Hamburger Buns
2 cups already cooked macaroni and cheese

Use barbecue basting brush and cover chicken breasts with the King’s Hawaiian Barbecue Sauce, then place on the grill. Once the chicken is completely cooked, take off of the grill and shred the chicken with a fork and knife. Then put the shredded chicken in a large mixing bowl. Add 1 cup of the King’s Hawaiian Barbecue Sauce and mix well, add more as you see fit. After you are done mixing get the hamburger buns and put 2 spoonfuls of the barbecued chicken on the bottom piece of bread, put 1 spoonful of mac n cheese, then put cut avocado slices, place top bun on and serve!
