When it comes to being a mom, there is a lot that we go through on a daily basis. From the tantrums that kids have, the messes that we have to clean up, to those moments where the kids bring us a rock they found, give a kiss as they run past while playing, to find at the end of the day we sit back and laugh because all of it, the good and the bad, is what makes motherhood worth it. So when I was sent a fun survival kit that includes the book, Hurts Like a Mother, to review, I was excited to check it out!
In the survival kit, I found a prescription bottle with chocolate candies inside that were perfect to enjoy as I read through the fun book, Hurts Like a Mother! The book is a fun picture book that takes you from A-Z on the perils of motherhood in a hilarious fashion!
This book is not only a fun one to give this Mothers Day to any moms in your life, but one that can be enjoyed by new moms, veteran moms, and even moms who’s kids might be grown. And in the book, you find situations that will make you lol, as you think back on some of your own adventures in motherhood! Making the book, Hurts Like a Mother, the perfect book to give this Mothers Day! And to help with giving that perfect fun gift this year, the wonderful people who sent me my survival pack would like to give 3 of my amazing readers their own Hurts Like a Mother Survival kits as well!!!
Product received, thank you to Penguin Random House as well as the PR for supplying me with a product for this review, all opinions are my own.
The funniest thing ever was when my son who was 4 at the time and my daughter was 1 1/2 got into my bathroom and my son tried to tie tampons in her hair while she attached pads to her feet. I was laughing to hard to get mad.
I learned that Florence Henderson did a reading of the book.
I learned that we are not perfect. Our kids will love us no matter our imperfections. In there eyes we are perfect to them. Patricia
