When it comes to movies, I like to not only seek out those movies to watch with the family on our family movie nights, but also I like to seek out the movies that my husband and I can watch on our movie nights. So when we were sent the movie, My All American, on Blu-Ray to review, I was excited to check it out and add it to my next movie night with my husband!
In the movie, My All American, you get a true story that brings the face of a football star and his life to fruition! The story is about Texas Longhorns Football Star, Freddie Steinmark, and how even after he was told that he could not do it, he followed his dreams and did not take no for a answer. He was told he was too short to play, and when he was given a scholarship to play, he found himself fighting to be the player he knew he could be. Freddie then finds himself not only with a injury, but with one that changes his life forever.
This movie is perfect for those date nights in, or even movie nights with the family when you have older kids in the home. I do have to warn though, when you sit to watch this movie, you might want to have a box of facial tissue available because in this beautiful story you find that the heart and perseverance of Freddie Steinmark come alive once again! Making My All American a great movie to head out and bring home today!
