For me, one thing that I learned over the years with my own kids is that when it comes to soothing baby, a toddler, or even older kids, having music on can make all the difference. So when we were sent the snu:mee to review, I was excited to check out this new device that can not only help when it comes to soothing, but also be a product that can grow with baby as well!
To get started, you can either put the snu:mee in the very adorable plush toy or you can place it on a flat surface in babies room. For use when you have a baby, you can use the snu:mee as both a music box for baby to help soothe them with as well as a baby monitor.
Once you have your snu:mee where you want it, you will then need to download the snu:mee app, which can be downloaded via iOS or Android. With the app, you can turn your smartphone into a baby monitor handset and more!
The baby monitor feature reacts to noises that can come from the babies room, and to be alerted to this you can have it alert you with sound and vibration. You can also not only listen to baby through the snu:mee that is set up in the room, but you can also talk to baby through the monitor as well. And if you go out of range, the app will alert you.
Other ways you can utilize the snu:mee from your phone by using the app is by being able to control the music that baby hears. You can upload music, record your own voice, play soothing nature sounds, play the preloaded music that is on the app, put the music on shuffle mode, adjust the volume and more! Then as your kids grow or if older children want to use the snu:mee as well, you can make the snu:mee into a MP3 player by using the music on the app and making the snu:mee into a speaker! Making the snu:mee a great music box device that is perfect for having in any home to use as both a soothing device as well as a baby monitor!
