When it comes to finding movies to watch in our home, I like to find both new movies as well as older movies that I have enjoyed in the past. I have found that with movie times, I can enjoy various movies alone, with the kids, with my husband or even with each of my kids individually. So when we were sent the 10th Anniversary Edition of the movie, The Devil Wears Prada, on Blu-Ray to review, I knew that this would be a great movie to share with my daughter!
In this movie you find a girl who is looking to find her place in the world as a writer. She learns that when it comes to being fresh out of college, the job market is not that favorable. And until she has some references that reach further than her local school newspaper, she will not get very far. She soon finds herself in a position to take on a job that is something many would die for, but that she sees as a way to pay her bills and to get a running start in the writing industry.
I saw this movie to be a great one for sharing with my daughter because it shows that you can achieve what you seek out when you set goals. As well as the fact that vanity nor any job that makes you unhappy should not be a decider when it comes to living a happy life and pursing your goals and dreams. You can bring home this movie to watch today when you head out and pick up your copy of, 10th Anniversary Edition of The Devil Wears Prada, on Blu-Ray!
Product received, thank you to Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment as well as the PR for supplying me with a product for this review, all opinions are my own.
I remember this movie. It was a good one. I can't believe it's been this long since it came out.
