The holidays are something we look forward to in my house. We enjoy the changing of the seasons, watching as the leaves on the trees change colors, and also kicking off our holiday season with Halloween! With that said, when it comes to getting everyone excited for Halloween, we like to not only find those costumes and decorations, but also add fun DIY projects to the mix. So when we were sent the Cutout Cookies Ready to Decorate kit from Dolce and Biscotti to review, we were very excited to begin personalizing the cookies!
The cookies we were sent were a Halloween themed pack. And to get started we first followed the instructions on making the icing to put on the cookies. The kids liked that they were able to help then put their own icing on their sets of cookies that we gave them. Once they were frosted, the kids then had fun decorating the cookies with the sprinkles that came with our pack. This allowed for the kids to be able to put a personal touch on each of their cookies, and made the process a lot of fun. Now with this pack we did have the option to change the color of the frosting, but my kids chose to leave the frosting the white color for their cookies, and were able to make them the way they wanted which allowed everyone to have fun and enjoy the process!
