Let's Go See with Visionworks

The new school year is upon us or quickly approaching for others, and for me that means it is time to get the lists checked off. On those lists we have, I find the school supplies, the back to school clothes and shoes, along with the checkups for the kids. With the checkups for my kids, I like to take them to get physicals if need be, have their teeth cleaned and checked, then also have their eyes checked as well for their yearly eye exams. The reason behind this is because I learned years ago that even if we do not see that our kids have poor eye sight, if it goes unnoticed, it can cause issues in their behavior and in their school work. And with that, I like to add having the kids eyes checked each year as part of our back to school routine.

Recently I was told about a great initiative, one that is created to help kids and parents, and help to raise awareness when it comes to the importance of annual eye exams. This program is called Let’s Go See, and it is a program that has been put together by the people from Visionworks and Davis Vision to not only raise awareness, but also offer the chance for a teacher, coach, and other community members to nominate a child, school or organization that is in need of a free comprehensive eye exam and glasses.

Their goal is to help 10,000 kids in need of an eye exam and glasses. Then also, for those parents out there who do have vision insurance or can pay for their kids to have their eyes examined, they would like to remind them to have their kids eyes checked, and also pledge to have their kids eyes examined before school starts on social media, to help raise awareness! In all, bringing awareness to the importance of our children’s eyes, reminding parents to have their children’s eyes checked, and to also help kids who need their eyes checked and might need glasses, get the services they need. To make your pledge, learn more, and help a child in need, head on over to the Let’s Go See site now!

Product received, thank you to Visionworks as well as the PR for supplying me with a product for this review, all opinions are my own.
