Summertime is a time where the kids are out of school and home for the break. Now for us, our summer break has just started, and like many, we enjoy finding ways to enjoy our time together by finding products that help to bring the family together, even in the kitchen! So to help with our prep work in the kitchen, we were sent a fun set of gadgets when we were sent the Curious Chef 6-Piece Fruit & Veggie Prep Kit.
With the summer months, we like to utilize a lot of fresh fruits and veggies into our menus, from the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus to our snacks as well. And with each of the mealtimes in the house, our kids like to not only be involved by helping to come up with our menus for the day, but also help by assisting in the kitchen when it comes to preparing the meals. I like that with the various Curious Chef products, we can give the kids the tools they might need so they too can help and contribute to the prep and cooking of meals for the family.
In this kit, the kids get tools that can help with the prepping of our fruits and vegetables from the scrubbing and cleaning of our produce, to the peeling and slicing! I can really appreciate that there are not only tools that help with the peeling, cutting and slicing of our produce, but that the tools are made to be kid friendly, so when my kids assist us in the kitchen, I can feel good about letting them use the various tools in this kit. I also like that aside from the Fruit & Veggie Prep Kit, we can find various other products and kits to add to the kids kitchen tools as well, helping to make the time we spend together in the kitchen, fun and enjoyable times for everyone!
