HomeScreen Dual Band AC Router/Range Extender

In my home, we have a lot of devices that we use when it comes to the tech products, and with that, we rely on our home WiFi to keep us connected when using our devices. The thing is, when we have our WiFi up and running, and I am on my laptop or tablet, then my husband is on his tablet, the kids are playing on their gaming console, and I have Netflix streaming or even the satellite going and watching On Demand, that signal can become weak. For me as a blogger, someone who works from home and depends on that signal, this can be a issue, especially when I am trying to edit photos, run my social media accounts and write posts, while others in the house are all using the same signal I am using. So when I was given the chance to review the HomeScreen Dual Band AC Router/Range Extender, I was excited to see if it could make a difference!

I was very surprised to see how easy it was to set up. I set up the HomeScreen to be a range extender in my home, and once I had plugged it in, the setup was simple and only took about 3 minutes and I did not have to do anything with the setup process on my computer. I also liked that it took me step by step with the Setup Wizard. I was able to select my homes WiFi, sign into the signal, then set up the extender to my laptop by selecting the signal, so I could then use the signal for my own use.

With the range extender, I was able to setup a signal in my home office, that gave me a full signal from the other side of the house, and allowed me to get the work I needed done, without any lag when it came to my signal. I found that I have been very impressed in the speed I can get with the fast dual-band 802.11ac signal with integrated touch screen.

Once I was all set up and running, I liked that there was more to the HomeScreen than just being able to use it as a router or range extender. I mean, when I use it as a router, I can access the local weather, and other free apps that I can check out by using them through the touchscreen that I get with the router. I can also add devices if I want, allowing me to control the internet usage, Then I can even add photos if I want, through the cloud control that I can utilize from any desktop. And another plus is, I can take my HomeScreen in various rooms in my home, so I can get the most out of my WiFi regardless of which room I am in.
