In life, we find that there is a lot of stress to be had, whether we welcome it or not. More times than none, stress is not welcome, but we go on with our lives and find ways to deal with it. As a mom, I have found that stress can come in many forms. From that first baby, where you sit awake all night, while you know you should be sleeping, to watch your newborn baby sleep, to the second or even third and so on, where stress is just a part of your daily life.
Like in my home, where I have 3 kids, all of whom are housebroken, but who all like to test those limits, to see how far mommy can handle the stress. From the toddler who thinks he is a dare devil and climbs anything and everything, the preteen who tends to be a bit dramatic at the drop of a pin, to the picky eater who refuses to eat the food on the plate if there is even a hint of vegetables to be seen. Yes, stress is there, and can be found at any given moment, whether you expect it to or not, but as a mom, I have learned to deal with my stress and I have ways to let the stress of the day, not bother me.
For me, there are many avenues I might go down when it comes to reducing my levels of stress. Like for one, I might try to laugh it off, even if I leave the room for a split second to find that the toddler has decided to turn one of the walls into a masterpiece. Because the way I see it is, it has already happened, and yes I am not happy about it, but it is done, and if I stress on the mess I now have to clean up, my little guy will feel the stress and our day can go downhill quickly. So, I do teach him it was wrong, by having him help me clean up the mess, since we all know cleaning is like a four letter word to kids, and having a little help gets the job done a bit quicker.
Other ways I find to relieve the stress in my day is by hitting the gym, where it is just me and the machines. No kids screaming, no phones ringing or dogs barking, just me and my thoughts. Taking the family for a day of adventure helps with reducing stress levels in my home, by just seeking out the adventure to be had and letting go.
I also like to go on walks with the family, allowing us to all get out after dinner, to enjoy the fresh evening breeze, as we wind down for the day and get some exercise together, de-stressing as a family. Then for those times where I just need another way to relieve stress, I tend to seek out products, ones that can help with reducing the stress like chocolate, and products like natural RESCUE, which help to take on stress and help moms be at their best!
With natural stress reducing products like RESCUE, I like that I can go for a remedy, that will help me de-stress, as well as continue on with my day.
