#Giveaway Pampers News for Newborns

With a new baby, whether you are a first time mom or a mom who has other children, there are always those concerns and even questions when it comes to the care of baby. The concerns can range from if baby is getting enough to eat and are they gaining enough weight to the issues of diaper rash and is their stool color a normal color. These are perfectly normal questions and they are also things that parents should know about when it comes to the different colors and symptoms. To help with not only educating myself on the colors of a newborns stool and diaper rashes, but also share this information with my readers, I was sent some very helpful information from the wonderful people at Pampers.

Even after 3 babies, I do not see myself as an expert when it comes to baby. Like the fact that when I had my eldest, I did both breast feeding and formula feeding, so when I had my boys and I strictly breastfed, and I noticed differences from the obvious feeding habits to their stool colors. This was something that at first concerned me, until our pediatrician explained that the color, texture and even smell can be different when it comes to breastfed babies vs formula fed babies, and that when it came to babies poop, to monitor the colors, and make sure that we did not get a pale white or a grayish color. You can see the different colors in the chart below, which gives you the information on the colors and on the importance on monitoring these colors in those first couple of months.

Aside from the stool colors, another concern that parents have when it comes to baby are those diaper rashes. Diaper rashes can be not only a concern for parents, but can be a very irritating issue for baby. You can find out the symptoms, as well as how to treat a diaper rash by heading over here!

To help with those concerns when it comes to the color of the stool or diaper rashes, the wonderful people from Pampers are hosting the fun, Mommy Memory Match Sweepstakes, where you can test your knowledge by using the info I have shared and the info you can find on the Pampers site, to enter to win some amazing prizes, which include a grand prize of a 6 month supply of diapers and wipes!
