#Giveaway #MySummerJourney with Baby Made Simple with Safety 1st Travel Gear

When having a new baby, one thing that can be hard for parents is traveling with baby. I know this, as with each of my babies, when they were fairly small, I have taken them back home for my parents to see. For me, I like to have gear that does not only help with making that car ride a lot easier, but also gear that will come in handy, making the travel experience a lot less stressful for both parents and baby.

Items that I would include on my list for when traveling with baby would include a diaper bag packed with items that I will need for caring for baby while we are not home, extra diapers and wipes, a portable breast pump, blankets, extra changes of clothes, extra pacifiers and bottles, a stroller, and a play yard. For some this might seem like a large list of items, but to a parent, this list is just the essentials needed when traveling with baby, which does not include the entertainment items and other products that might be needed to make the trip easier on everyone.

Well to help with travel in our home for the newest member of the family, we were sent the very adorable Bambi gear set from Safety 1st! With the Disney Baby Bambi Saunter Luxe Travel System, we can have both the infant car seat, which is of course a necessity when traveling with baby that also includes the car seat base, and the stroller, that is very handy for when traveling with baby.

The Comfy Carry Elite Plus Infant Car Seat, is not only incredibly adorable with the Disney Baby Bambi design on it, but it is a essential item to add to any registry when you are preparing for baby. I like that it can hold a rear facing infant, from 4 – 22 pounds, which is great for when preparing for a tiny baby to bring home. I also find the 5 point harness can help secure baby in the car seat, both safely and comfortably, with the Center Front Adjustment! With the infant support, you do not have to worry about even the smallest 4 pound babies, sliding down in their seat, and baby is also protected with the side impact protection. Another huge plus about the car seat is that it is light weight, so as you make those stops for gas on a road trip, when you use the base, the car seat can go in and out of the car easily, and the car seat itself is not that heavy!

For the stroller, I think one of the aspects I really like and can appreciate is that when baby is sleeping in the car, I can hook the car seat up to the stroller, and keep from waking a sleeping baby when getting in and out of the car with the QuickClick, which attaches the car seat and secures it in place on the stroller. The one hand fold is also a plus, for busy parents, especially when traveling and juggling 3 older kids, and the lightweight frame helps when taking the stroller in and out when we are on the go. Then with the handy parent compartments, I can open them up to put my phone, keys and even hold 2 drinks in, when needed. The large storage basket on the bottom comes in handy for carrying the diaper bag, and also very handy for when we are out shopping to store all of our items in.

Then for the toddler, when I use this stroller, I can allow him to ride in it up to 50 pounds, and he can enjoy the relaxing features with not only the 5 point harness which helps to keep him in place, safely, but he can also relax with the multi-position recline! We can enjoy a fun game of  peekaboo, and also look in on baby while they are resting with the see through window that is on the quilted canopy. And if Wyatt is going for a ride in the stroller, he can use the tray on this stroller to hold his sippy cup while we are riding around.

Then for when we reach our destination, just like when we want to get comfortable and settled in, it is also important to have the gear you need to insure that baby is also comfortable. So with the Disney Baby Bambi Care Center Play Yard, we can have a bassinet, removable toy bar, changing station and parent accessory tray, so we can bring the comforts of home, on vacation, making life a little easier when traveling for everyone!

As a parent, I like that the play center is easy to set up and take down. We just unpack it from the carrying bag, push in the middle part, and pull up the sides until they click in place, then to add the bassinet, we put the bars in place, hook it onto the sides and put the mat inside. The changing station and parent accessory tray are also easy to put on and take off, as is the toy bar, making the Disney Baby Bambi Care Center Play Yard not only the perfect coordinating accessory for the Disney Baby Bambi Collection, but also a must have item for when traveling with baby, in all, making a summer journey with baby, a lot easier for both parents and baby!

Well to help with your own preparations for traveling with baby, the wonderful people from Safety 1st would like to give one of my amazing readers some great travel gear for baby!

I'm loving the Elite 80 Air + 3-in-1 Car Seat. My little girl's seat makes her head flop around when she sleeps. Poor girl! And with all of our summer travels it is a bummer.

I'd love to have the Just-in-Case Storage Station. This would be wonderful to keep in the car to hold all those little items that a little one might need – snacks, toys, diapers, sanitizer, etc.

the easy to use stroller would be the most helpful some strollers are so hard to flip up and when you are trying to do things quickly to tend to a baby it becomes quite a problem so being able to use one hand to do it is awesome
