In honor of World Breastfeeding Week, I was sent a great Feeding and Support Pillow from Inspired Mother to review. I find that having products on hand to help with offering comfort and support for breastfeeding is very ideal, and with the Inspired Mother Feeding and Support Pillow, I find that I can get not only the comfort I look for when using a breastfeeding pillow, but also get the support as well.
I have used different breastfeeding pillows in the past, but one thing that really stood out for me when I began looking over this breastfeeding pillow, is the unique breastfeeding reminder system! I mean, I try to keep up with which side I used during a previous feeding, but when you have a new baby, and you are feeding every couple of hours around the clock, you tend to be quite tired. I am one who does try to keep a log, knowing how tired I can be in those first few months, so that I can keep track of feedings, but in the middle of the night, when I get up to feed baby, I do not want to disturb others by turning on a light to log the feedings, and having this great pillow that helps mothers with a simple reminder system, is a great tool all in its own for a new mom!
This unique reminder system is very easy to use and keep up with. To use it, you just simply turn the tab over, from right to left or vice versa depending on which side you used last, and it is so easy to use, that even when mom is wore out and dog tired during those night time feedings, she can keep track by utilizing the support system on this pillow!
Aside from the simple reminder system that this pillow offers, I also like the softness and rounded shape, so I can use it for a variety of uses. So instead of just using this pillow as a breastfeeding pillow, I can also use it for tummy time, as well as after feeding time to let baby relax on and get support from! Making the Feeding and Support Pillow from Inspired Mother a great gift to give any new mom!
