The 4th of July is a day to show your patriotism, to celebrate the birthday of America and our freedom! Like many other households in America, we enjoy celebrating, by having those cookouts with friends and family, and enjoying other activities like doing some fun arts and crafts with all of the kids and watching the fireworks at night!
Well this year, to help show our patriotism and celebrate the 4th of July with our friends and family, we were sent a great pack of goodies from the wonderful people at the Oriental Trading! To start our decorating, we were sent a fun Patriotic Handprint Windsock Craft Kit for the kids to make and hang up outside on the big day! These were so much fun to make, and our kids enjoyed making these windsocks with their friends, so they can have a part in decorating on the 4th! The kits were very simple, starting with the finger paint, which we had the kids put their hands in, then print onto the papers that came in the kits. Once they dried, we helped the kids put their windsocks together, then hang out in front of the house for all to see!
For my own decor to add to the festivities, I was sent the Americana Heart Wreath, which makes for a great wreath to hang on the door to greet visitors and guests, and also another great way to show off our patriotism this 4th of July!
Then for the big day, for when we set the table for our barbecue, we were sent a great set of table settings with the Patriotic Flag-Shaped Tableware and Invitations set! This was great for sending out those invites to our friends and family to notify them of our party. Then once everyone gets here on the big day, they can all enjoy serving themselves using the great patriotic, flag shaped plates and napkins, and drinking from the American Flag designed cups, to make our 4th of July festivities both fun and very patriotic this year!
