Keep Baby Protected from the Sun and Bugs this Summer with the Cozy Cover

The warmer months are upon us, at least here in Texas, and with that comes all of those beautiful sunny days, and yes, the bugs that come along with the warmer weather. Here in Texas one bug that can really be a pest is the mosquito. They are not only annoying, bite, and leave an itchy spot when they are done, but they also carry disease. So as we prepare for a new member in our family, I like to keep in mind the activity, like spending days outdoors and enjoying the sun.

One thing I do for my older kids when we are outdoors, is keep them protected from the sun with sunblock and protective clothing and eye wear, then also spray on bug spray to keep those nasty mosquito’s from biting. With a baby, parents have to be careful, and protect baby as well from the elements, but avoid chemicals and skin irritants.
