With Easter coming up, I find myself trying to find those items that the kids want, for the Easter baskets. Now, when I was a kid, I can remember not only getting candy in my basket and in the eggs that we found on our Easter egg hunts, but I can also remember getting a new toy in my basket as well. Having 3 kids, I find that with boys and girls, it is like night and day, and for me, I like to find those must have toys that are on the market to put in their baskets each year. This year, I was sent a great selection of toys for both boys and girls from Mattel to review. When it comes to the girl toys, well Estrella is one who knows her dolls. She is a avid collector of both the Monster High dolls and the Ever After High dolls, so when I saw the toys that came in for the girls Easter baskets, I knew she would like these. With the Monster High Frights Camera Action Hauntlywood Viperine Gorgon doll, Estrella can let her star quality shine as she and her friends walk the “black carpet” when they get their Frights Camera Action Monster High Dolls together! From there, she can have a ice cold adventure, when she and her friends play with the Disney Frozen Elsa Small Doll Castle! Estrella will be able to recreate adventures like in the movie with the beautiful castle on top of the mountain! Then, to continue to add to Estrella’s collection of the Ever After High dolls, she was sent Fairest Raven Queen, Apple White, and Briar Beauty, making this collection of toys for girls perfect for adding to this years Easter Basket!

For Robert, we were sent a couple of fun sets from the Hot Wheels collection! Robert is a huge fan of Monster Trucks, and he enjoys going to the Monster Truck Shows when they come to town, so when I saw the Hot Wheels Monster Jam Mini Showdown Stadium, I knew this would make for a great addition to his Hot Wheels collection! Robert and his friends can create their own monster truck shows anytime, doing some amazing stunts, just like the pros do in the shows! Then with the Hot Wheels Color Shifters Sharkport, Robert and his friends can go on a thrill ride, where the cars change colors and where they can try to escape the jaws of the shark, making this set and the monster truck mini set, both top items from Mattel to put in the boys Easter Baskets this year!
In all, I found the great toys that we were sent from Mattel for both boys and girls to be some great additions to this years Easter Baskets, and you can too because the wonderful people from Mattel would like to give one of my amazing readers the same set of Ever After High dolls that I was sent as pictured below!!!
