Being able to find something for the husband and I to go to or even take the whole family to is something I am always on the look out for. Sure we can do dinner and a movie, but being raised by actors and growing up watching plays and musicals, I find going to see a play or musical to be a lot more enjoyable. So you can imagine that when plays and musicals come to Amarillo, I will set the date! I enjoy not only going to watch shows with my husband, but Estrella is one who is following in her grandparents footsteps, and adores the theater, and when there are certain shows that come to town, I find myself choosing her as my date for the theater over my husband. Well coming to Amarillo January 29th and 30th, at the Civic Center, is the hit Broadway Musical, Beauty and the Beast!
Estrella and I are Disney Princess fans, and Beauty and the Beast is one of our favorite movies, so when I found out that Beauty and the Beast the Musical would be coming to Amarillo, I knew it was time to make a date! Estrella will be celebrating her 10th birthday soon, so taking her to see this musical will be more than a date to a musical, it will be our birthday date! Beauty and the Beast is taken after the classic Disney movie, so Estrella and I will be able to find excitement of not only going to see a Broadway Musical but also seeing a Disney Musical. If you are in Amarillo, be sure to get your tickets now, and if you are not in Amarillo, you can check out the tour schedule so you can be sure to set your own date night to see Disney’s Beauty and the Beast the musical!

This is still one of my favorite stories. The last theater performance I seen was Mary Poppins with I found very enjoyable. This would be a great family night out.
