I seem to find that when I go holiday shopping for my kids, I get excited and feel like a kid again myself. I mean, when I go to the toy stores and I see all of the toys that my kids want, I can see why they want them, and before I buy them, I will either look for a blogger review to see what others think, or I will test out the toy for myself in the store. I think one thing that I can really appreciate when it comes to the toy shopping is seeing toys that I once loved as a child myself. One such toy is the Cabbage Patch Kids. I can remember being a little girl back in the 80’s, and there being one Christmas when I had to have one and I got one that year. I can remember years later my mom telling me the story behind the Cabbage Patch Kid I got that year. About how that particular year was the year that every other little girl in the country also wanted a Cabbage Patch Kid as well, so the hunt was on, and my mom, dad, grandparents and aunt, all went on the search, until they finally found one and they bought her without thinking twice. She was a red headed doll, with red yarn hair. I can still remember waking up on Christmas morning and seeing her sitting under the tree waiting for me to claim her and take her out of her box. Having kids of my own now, I know what it is like to go on the hunt for that one must have product that every kid in America also has on their list, so looking back, I can really appreciate what my family went through to get me that one must have toy. Well this year for the holiday guide I was sent a great pack of products from Jakks Pacific and when I saw that Cabbage Patch doll in the pack of toys, I right away thought about my own childhood. I love that the Cabbage Patch Kids have survived and stuck around all of these year so that I can share that same passion for the dolls that I once had with my own daughter. Aside from the adorable Cabbage Patch Kid that I was sent I was also sent a toy or should I say doll for boys, that Robert will adore. Robert is a huge Star Wars fan, and with this 31″ Darth Vader, Robert is sure to be surprised! I love all of the detail in this doll, from the cape to the detail in his suit, Darth Vader is ready to become part of your Star Wars fan’s collection today! Then with the Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood 3-in-1 Treehouse Playset, Robert, Wyatt and Estrella can all play together. This playset includes Daniel Tiger, O the Owl, and Katerina Kittycat, who are all ready to play, explore, and go on many adventures with your kids. The kids will enjoy transforming the treehouse into the neighborhood space station! They can snap together the space station slide to the awesome rocket elevator! Watch as Katerina twirls on the dance floor and music plays for her to dance to, then explore space with Daniel’s hidden telescope tower and so much more! The possibilities when it comes to imaginative play is endless, so I know my kids will enjoy hours of fun playing with their Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood 3-in-1 Treehouse Playset! So this holiday shopping season, while you are out looking at what toys to get your kids, check out the great selection of toys from Jakks Pacific for both girls and boys, as well as the preschoolers on your list!
