Travel and accommodations for the event were provided for me by the PR company to cover the event.
In my house there are certain shows and channels we enjoy watching together and one that we have found more and more shows on, that have programming that we can all enjoy, is the HUB Network. My husband and I appreciate that those shows that are made from childhood favorite products like Transformers, My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake come on, and can be enjoyed by everyone. Then with the shows that we remember from our own childhood like Step By Step and Fraggle Rock, we can watch and share those memories with our kids who enjoy them as well. We also find it to be a routine to get together and watch The Haunted HUB each week, enjoying shows like The Haunting Hour and Goosebumps, which are written by one of my favorite authors from my own childhood, R.L. Stine! Well this past weekend I got to be a part of an amazing event, one of monstrous proportions. The wonderful people from The HUB Network invited myself, along with a group of amazing parent bloggers, to take part in The HUB Networks 1st Annual Halloween Bash red carpet event and taping!
Before the taping for this weekends HUB Halloween Bash began, we were able to meet some amazing people as they made their way down the red carpet. Of the group of people who we met and were able to talk to, was the host of this years bash, Kenan Thompson, the judges of the costume contest that the HUB held, Coco Jones, Hal Sparks, and Martha Stewart.
As the stars made it down the red carpet, I found that being able to interview some of the entertainment for the event was a must have. Meeting and talking with one of the stars from the upcoming series, Spooksville, was interesting. The ladies from Fifth Harmony, came to visit with us, and I found them to be a great group both onstage and off. I enjoyed watching them as they interacted with the kids in the audience during breaks while the taping was going on. Cody Simpson, as well as the many other amazing celebrities who came to speak with us, not only gave us a few minutes of his time to answer questions, but he also showed us his charming self by posing for pictures, one of which he posed with my sister who attended the event as my guest.
In all, I found the HUB’s 1st Annual Halloween Bash taping, to be an experience to remember and with all of the awesome costumes that were in this years contest, I know the judges had a hard decision to make. Of course I know who the winner is, but for you to find out and also see all of the great performances that made this event complete, you will just have to tune in to The HUB Network this Saturday, October 26th at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT!
I want to thank The HUB Network and PR group for inviting myself and other bloggers out to be a part of the big event!
What a fun event to attend. I will have to try and watch this tonight.
