One of my favorite stories and movies, that I have loved being able to share with my own children is Peter Pan. We have watched the movie numerous times, and when we were sent the movie Peter Pan: Return To Neverland on Blu-Ray Combo Pack to review, I knew that my kids would enjoy this movie just as much as they have enjoyed the first Peter Pan! We chose to watch this movie on our family movie night, which was a great decision. I had not seen this movie and neither had anyone else in the house, so it was really great to watch and share this with the family. In Peter Pan: Return To Neverland Wendy and Peter are back, but things have changed. Wendy is grown up and now has a family of her own. Wendy is married and her husband is sent away to fight in WWII, leaving her at home to take care of her own two children, Jane and Danny. With the war going on, Wendy finds that telling her stories of Peter and Neverland to be a outlet for her children. Her daughter Jane does not feel the same, she does not like the fantasy and also tries to make fun of her brother Danny who does enjoy the stories. Due to the war, Wendy is forced to take her kids to the country for their safety, which does not go over well with Jane. At the same time, back in Neverland, Captain Hook is still wanting to get even with Peter Pan, so he decides to go to London and take, who he believes to be Wendy, not realizing that Wendy has grown and the girl he took is Wendy’s daughter Jane.
