Since her arrival to the Disney Junior family, Sofia the First has been a favorite new show for us. I have enjoyed watching the series with Estrella, and even though it is a girlie show of sorts, Robert has enjoyed watching it as well on occasion. Well recently we were sent the new DVD Sofia the First: Ready To Be A Princess to review. Just like Sofia, Estrella finds herself to be a princess in training and with this new DVD you get that adorable little princess in training in 5 great episodes that is perfect for sharing with the family on family movie night!
One, of both mine and Estrella’s favorite Disney Princess’s is Jasmine, and in the episode Two to Tangu, Sophia and Amber go on a magic carpet ride. When they find their adventure gets them in some trouble, Princess Jasmine comes to their rescue. She advises them on trying new things and that it is important to stay strong, and stay true to themselves! We love the songs and the adventures along with the lessons that can be learned in each of these episodes.
