Finding Those Perfect Halloween Costumes This Year From Costume Express

Halloween is one of my favorite times of year. I enjoy getting out all of our decorations and setting up a new scene each year in our front yard for everyone to see. Another thing that I have always loved about Halloween is the costumes. I mean, being brought up by actors, I naturally enjoy dressing up, putting on makeup and having fun with it all. Now that I have kids of my own, I not only enjoy dressing myself up, but I enjoy dressing the kids up with the costumes and characters of their choosing. One place that we have shopped at in the past years, as well as this year is CostumeExpress.com. My kids as well as my husband and I, find the selection to be amazing. This year, Robert of course went with the whole Star Wars theme again, and Estrella, my princess, wanted to go with a horrifying zombie theme. With Robert, he had already decided since last year, that this year he would be Darth Vader, so finding that perfect Darth Vader costume for him was easy when we went to Costume Express. In fact, I found a Darth Vader costume that exceeded the expectations that Robert had for this year. I went with the Star Wars Deluxe Darth Vader Light-Up Kids Costume. When Robert saw that the mask lights up, he was in shock. See he has a couple of friends who will also be going with the Star Wars theme again this year, and he is sure that his Darth Vader costume from Costume Express is going to outdo any costumes that his friends show up in this year!

Then for Estrella, my so said princess, she went with the Zombie Girl Tween Costume. I guess with Estrella always being so girly and the diva of the house, Halloween is her way to be a complete opposite character. She had been searching for a good Zombie child costume, and when she saw the Zombie Girl costume at Costume Express, she right away said that she had found what she was looking for. Ever since Estrella was about 4, she has been drawn towards the Dark Side when it comes to Halloween. And with this costume, she has definitely found the dark side of things. The pajamas are perfect for that zombie child roaming lost through the night, during a night of trick or treating! It also came with a headless doll, that Estrella can walk around with, carrying and playing the part of the mindless, evil, child zombie! In all, we were once again blown away with the selection of costumes, and by the fact that we were not only able to find exactly what the kids wanted this year, but the prices are also very parent friendly!
