Gift Card Received for Review Purposes
I have been out doing lots of back to school shopping, hitting all of the great sales out there and checking off the lists. There is a lot to be done to get the kids ready, from the school supplies to the clothes needed, then you also have the shots if needed, the physicals if they are going to be in sports, and one that does not need to be overlooked, the glasses if needed. I know that the lists can get quite big, and it seems that every time you get an item checked off that back to school preparation list, there is still something else that needs to be done. With Estrella, she wears glasses, and since I also wear glasses, I like to take my kids to have their eyes checked as part of my back to school prep. Now, I know that after getting the eyes checked, if they need glasses, that can be quite a chore, and with all of the rest expenses that come with the back to school prep, getting glasses for the kids can put quite a dent on the finances. This year, to help with the back to school shopping when it comes to getting glasses, I was sent a gift card to use at my local JCPenney Optical! When I went to look at what glasses we could get Estrella this year, well I was shocked. I mean, all of the glasses that are priced up to $120 for kids are only $25 through the entire month of August!
For me that is like a victory and also a huge relief. It is a victory because when Estrella went to pick out her glasses, she was able to get the ones she wanted, instead of me telling her she could only pick from a few pairs that were in my budget. It was a relief knowing, that at $25 a pair, well if Robert needs glasses, I can get him a pair that he likes as well, without breaking the bank. Even with the glasses only being $25, when I bought Estrella her glasses from JCPenney, she also got free impact and scratch-resistant protection as well as free UV protection and a free eyeglasses protection plan! Really, for any parent with kids who wear glasses, that all together for just $25 is huge. I know that the first year Estrella wore glasses, we had to replace them within a month, so having that protection plan in place for kids glasses is a must have, and with it being free, well, I do not see why you would get your kids glasses anywhere else this back to school season! So, if you have kids who are school aged 16 and under, you should head on over to your local JCPenney Optical today, so that you can take advantage of this amazing deal before it is gone!!
