Tape it Up (Guest Post)

Tape it Up

What can  you do with a roll of
tape? Quite a bit, actually. There are many types of tape, and tons
of uses for each type that you have in your home. If you’re
interested in making your home more organized, use tape. If you want
to keep things in tact, use tape. If you want to fix parts of your
car, use tape. People have even gone as far as making prom dresses
out of tape. It’s about more than packing boxes. You can do so much
with tape that the possibilities are endless.

Using
Decorative Tape for Organization

Decorative
tape
is a great way to keep things organized around your home.
Label the plastic containers in your kitchen pantry to help keep
things in place around the kitchen. The garage is another place that
people have a hard time staying organized in your home. Use the
decorative tape to mark jars of screws and bolts. Put red decorative
tape on things that the kids aren’t allowed to touch at all in the
garage or around the home.

The Many Possibilities of Duct Tape

Throughout the years, duct tape has
been used for countless number of projects and home improvements.
People have made prom dresses and even fixed things on space shuttles
using 3M Dual Lock duct
tape. How can you use it in your life? Well, you can use it to fix a
broken windshield or fix leaks in tubes under the hood of your card.

Scotch Tape for Life’s Little
Things

If a piece of glass breaks, wrap some
scotch
tape
around your hand, sticky side out to pick up the little
shards of glass that your broom may miss. You can use the same tactic
to pick up dog hair from your clothes or furniture. If you have small
cracks in your credit cards or windows, you can use scotch tape to
fix it up. That way, you credit card will still work and insects
won’t fly in through the window. You can even use tape to fix the
ends of your frayed shoelace.

What will you use your tape for? Find
new, creative uses for the tape you have lying around your home.
There are tons of things that you can do if you just start thinking
outside of the box a little bit. Whether it’s decorative tape, duct
tape or scotch tape, you can find a variety of uses for the stuff
around your home.
