MailPix (Holiday Guide 2012)

With the holidays coming and us having a new baby in the house, you can imagine that we are very busy. There is so much to be done and when it comes to gift giving, we like to put a personal touch on our gifts. This year, with Wyatt here, we have had many requests for pictures of him for Christmas, so like many others out there with families, we have turned to online picture stores where we can make our holiday gifts from the adorable pictures we have taken of our kids. Because my parents live so far away and they have yet to see Wyatt in person, this Christmas will be a very special one, and we want them to be able to take some special gifts back with them that remind them of their grand babies. Recently I was given the chance to do a review for MailPix, which is a online imaging store where I can order prints and also make gifts out of the pictures we have taken. Since we will be celebrating the holidays at our home this year, I decided to make my parents and my husband a personalized fleece blanket with a picture of all three kids on it. The picture I used was the first picture with my three babies together, so even though Wyatt is crying in the picture, I see it as being a very special picture, and putting it on a blanket that grandma can snuggle up with, makes it that much more special! Another item that I decided to go with for my husband was a shirt with a picture of our babies on it. My husband, like many other daddies out there, is a very proud daddy, and he loves showing off pictures of his babies, so what better way to show them off than to wear them on his shirt! For me, I found uploading my pictures from my computer onto MailPix to be a very easy process and creating and ordering my custom personalized gifts was also a very easy process. I love the deals that they have at MailPix, because after I was able to get the personalized gifts created, I was also able to easily place an order for numerous prints on our pictures made. After having Wyatt, I have gotten behind on my printing of pictures that I have taken, so being able to get great deals on large quantities of pictures made all at once then shipped to me, makes getting the pictures made that I had on my to do list a breeze!
